Updated HS Circuit Top 25: Week 4

The latest update in our national top-25 rankings are in and another great week and weekend of high school hoops took place last week. One program has jumped several spots up while another program made several jumps down. 

As we get closer to the holiday break, multiple top-25 teams will be playing in the month of December and several key matchups are waiting ahead for us to enjoy. Below you can check out our latest updated of our top-25. 

***High School programs competing as 'club' teams with identical rosters are being treated like a standard high schools.

1. Montverde Academy (FL) (5-0) 
The Eagles hold their number one spot after defeating St. Andrew's (FL) 79-32 over the weekend at home and improving to 5-0 on the season. Montverde Academy will host Dr. Phillips (FL) later this week.

2. Sunrise Christian (KS) (2-0)
Sunrise Christian made their season debut this past weekend at the Battle at the Rock showcase in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The Buffaloes defeated Lake Norman Christian (NC) and Legacy Early College (SC). Baylor commit 2021 F Kendall Brown averaged 22.5 PPG in both games. Sunrise Christian is expected to play again on December 11th and 12th this weekend against Phoenix Prep (AZ) and Premier Academy (TX).

3. IMG Academy (FL) (3-0) 
IMG Academy defeated Sarasota Booker (FL) last week in their only game 97-49. The Ascenders possibly will not play again until the 18th and 19th where they are expected to appear in the Prep Hoops Sun Bash.

4. Compass Prep (AZ) (9-0)
The Dragons have not played since November 14th but will be expected to play a few games this week in Kentucky as part of the Grind Session bubble and compete in the Bojangles Bash in Columbia, South Carolina this weekend. 2022 G A.J. Storr, a transfer from Bishop Gorman (NV), will make his debut this week with Compass Prep (AZ).

5. Coronado (NV) (1-0) 
The Cougars still have not confirmed their upcoming games for this month, which is possible. They have not played a game since their win over #7 Sierra Canyon (CA) a few weeks ago in Phoenix, Arizona. The Cougars are still currently ranked as the number one public school in the country.

6. Minnehaha Academy (MN) (1-0)
Minnehaha Academy's schedule has been delayed due to COVID-19 reasons. The Redhawks were expected to begin their 2020-2021 high school season this past weekend but that has now been pushed back for a couple more weeks.

7. Wasatch Academy (UT) (4-0)
The Tigers go 2-0 this past weekend at the Pro Look Shootout in Utah, defeating in state teams like Lone Peak (UT) and American Fork (UT). The Tigers will face Layton Christian (UT) this week and also expected to play in a local tournament this weekend called the Elite 8.

8. Sierra Canyon (CA) (0-1)
Sierra Canyon has had discussions last week regarding their game schedule for this month and have not confirmed anything as of yet. The Trailblazers have not played a game since their lost to #5 Coronado (NV) a few weeks ago back in Phoenix, Arizona.

9. St. Frances Academy (MD) (6-0)
St. Frances Academy continues their winning streak with a close win over Wilson (DC) last week 88-84. Delaware State commit 2021 PG Khyrie Staten scores 25 points along with 8 assists and 4 steals in their win. The Panthers will face Rock Top Academy (MD) later this week in their only game.

10. Oak Hill Academy (VA) (7-0) 
Oak Hill Academy will not be playing again until the weekend of January 7th. The NIBC league play is set to begin that exact weekend in Springfield, Virginia.

11. Duncanville (TX) (9-0)
Duncanville High School came away with two more big wins this past weekend in Houston against Legacy SSS (TX) and Yates (TX). The Panthers will have one game this week against CE King (TX) at home.

12. Combine Academy (NC) (7-0)
The Goats improve to 7-0 on the season with two wins over the weekend in Rock Hill, South Carolina at the Battle at the Rock showcase. Combine Academy has moved up seven spots since last week's rankings. They will be tested this weekend as they head to Memphis for the Iverson Classic event where they will face St. Louis Christian (MO) and Barlett (TN).

13. Ypsi Prep Academy (MI) (1-2)
Ypsi Prep Academy got themselves a win last week on the road against ISA (OH) 60-57. Michigan State commit 2022 F Emoni Bates put up 23 points in the win. The Ball Boys will be headed to Houston this weekend to face Legacy SSS (TX) as part of the Holiday Hoopfest.

14. Bishop Gorman (NV) (0-0)
Bishop Gorman will not play any other games this month and will begin to play games next month in January 2021. The Gaels have a major matchup against #5 Coronado (NV) next month in Phoenix, Arizona on January 22nd as part of the League of Legends.

15. Camden (NJ) (0-0)
The Panthers secure their spot at number fifteen for now and will look to open their 2020-2021 high school season next month.

16. DeMatha Catholic (MD) (0-0)
The defending WCAC champions are expected to start beginning practice this month and will be expected to play games in January to begin their 2020-2021 high school season.

17. Long Island Lutheran (NY) (0-0)
Long Island Lutheran has still not finalized their schedule for the 2020-2021 high school season but they are expected to be able to begin their season in January.

18. La Lumiere (IN) (0-0)
La Lumiere is expected to make their 2020-2021 high school season debut this weekend at the Jack Jones Classic where they are expected to play Houston (TN).

19. West Oaks Academy (FL) (5-2)
West Oaks go 3-1 in the last four games in the Grind Session bubble in Kentucky. 2023 F Matt Bewley has been dominate, averaging 21.4 PPG shooting 62.2% from the field, 14.0 RPG, 2.0 SPG, and 2.0 BPG so far this season. The Flame are next expected to play again until the loaded Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina post Christmas.

20. Prolific Prep (CA) (11-3) 
Prolific Prep moves down several spots after taking a lost last week to unranked EDUPrize (AZ). The Crew has improved to an 11-3 overall record after winning a few games at the Grind Session "Mini Bubble" in Phoenix, Arizona.

21. Westtown School (PA) (0-0)
Westtown School will not begin their 2020-2021 high school season until January after the Phelps Tournament cancellation a few weeks ago.

22. Dream City Christian (AZ) (5-4)
Dream City Christian has not played since their win on November 16th and are expected to play again sometime this month in the Grind Session bubble in Kentucky.

23. Legacy Early College (SC) (5-1)
Legacy Early College goes 2-1 last week defeating Dorman (SC) and playing in the Battle at the Rock showcase in Rock Hill, South Carolina where they defeated Byrnes (SC) and took a lost to #2 Sunrise Christian. South Carolina commit 2021 PG Jacobi Wright averaged 30.5 PPG in their two games in Rock Hill.

24. The Patrick School (NJ) (0-0)
The Patrick School has still not finalized their schedule for the 2020-2021 high school season but they are expected to begin their season next month.

25. Paul VI (VA) (0-0)
The WCAC teams are able to begin practicing later this month and games will begin in early January.
