Our Week 10 national top-25 rankings are in and after a wonderful and competitive week and weekend. The first set of NIBC games and the St. James Invitational has concluded.
This past week featured a couple upset to top-25 programs and several programs have shifted since last week's national top-25 update. Below we take a look at the latest update in our national rankings.
***High School programs competing as 'club' teams with identical rosters are being treated like a standard high schools.
1. Montverde Academy (FL) (17-0)
Montverde Academy is by far the number one team in the country and going 4-0 last week to end their trip in Springfield, Virginia at the NIBC St. James Invitational. The Eagles are by far the favorites right now to capture the GEICO Nationals title, if there is a tournament.
2. Sunrise Christian (KS) (11-1)
Sunrise Christian secures their spot at number two in the country once again after key wins this weekend over #6 Wasatch Academy (UT), #3 IMG Academy (FL), and #25 Paul VI (VA). The Buffaloes will play again on January 28th at the Montverde Invitational.
6. Wasatch Academy (UT) (15-3)
Wasatch Academy goes 4-3 at the NIBC St. James Invitational in Springfield, Virginia and recently taking a lost to #1 Montverde Academy (FL) yesterday. The Tigers hold their number six spot and will not playing again until January 28th at the Montverde Invitational.
7. Prolific Prep (CA) (22-3)
Prolific Prep is currently on a 15-game winning streak and have improved to a 22-3 overall record on the season. The Crew is one of the hottest teams in the country right now this season and is expected to play again early February at the Grind Session bubble.
8. Minnehaha Academy (MN) (3-0)
Minnehaha Academy began their official 2020-2021 high school season this past weekend and getting two wins over Providence Academy (MN) and St. Louis Park (MN). The Redhawks will play again this weekend against Duluth East (MN) and Hibbing (MN).
9. DeMatha Catholic (MD) (4-0)
DeMatha Catholic goes 3-0 last week including two wins over John Marshall (VA) and in state powerhouse #11 St. Frances Academy (MD) at the St. James Invitational this past weekend in Springfield, Virginia. The Stags will head to Cleveland this weekend as they have a major matchup against St. Vincent-St. Mary (OH).
11. St. Frances Academy (MD) (12-2)
St. Frances Academy down a couple spots after losing to now #9 DeMatha Catholic (MD) this past weekend at the St. James Invitational.
14. Word of God Christian (NC) (24-4)
The Rams move up several spots after capturing a win last week over #10 Combine Academy (NC), a program they lost to earlier in the season. The Rams will have another major game this week against Liberty Heights (NC).
15. Ypsi Prep Academy (MI) (4-2)
Ypsi Prep Academy defeated St. Francis (OH) last week in their only game. The Ball Boys will be heading back to Ohio this weekend as they are expected to face Spire Institute (OH) and First Love Christian (PA) on Sunday as part of the Chet Mason Invitational in Cleveland.
16. Milton (GA) (14-2)
Milton goes 2-0 last week and playing in their first games since winning the 2020 Beach Ball Classic at the end of December. The Eagles highly anticipated matchup against Pace Academy (GA) yesterday was cancelled due to COVID issues.

19. La Lumiere (IN) (3-4)
La Lumiere finishes their NIBC St. James Invitational with a 3-4 overall record and coming out with a couple more wins this week. The Lakers are expected to be back in action at the end of the month on January 28th at the Montverde Invitational.
23. Oak Ridge (FL) (14-2)
Oak Ridge goes 2-1 last week in three tough games and losing by three to undefeated Orlando Christian Prep (FL). The Pioneers have lost their star guard, SMU commit 2021 PG Jalen Smith, due to a wrist injury. The Pioneers still rank in our top-25 and will have one game this week against Cypress Creek (FL).
24. Houston (TN) (8-3)
The Houston Mustangs, out of Germantown, Tennessee, make their debut in our top-25 national rankings for the first time this season after capturing a win over then ranked #23 Paul VI (VA) last weekend at the St. James Invitational in Springfield, Virginia. The Mustangs have other quality wins this season and have played a national schedule all year long.
25. Paul VI (VA) (3-2)
Paul VI drops a couple spots after taking a lost to then unranked Houston (TN) and #2 Sunrise Christian (KS) over the weekend at the St. James Invitational in Springfield, Virginia.
26. Legacy Early College (SC) (9-7)

28. St. Vincent-St. Mary’s (OH) (12-2)
29. The Burlington School (NC) (14-2)
