Updated HS Circuit Top 25: Week 12

The Week 12 national top-25 rankings are in and a few shifts and changes have been made since last week's release. The 2020-2021 is beginning to slowly end for some programs while others are just getting started. 

We have a plethora of top-25 matchup and elite caliber games coming for this weekend to begin the month of February. Below you can check out what changes have been made in our latest updated top-25 rankings. 

***High School programs competing as 'club' teams with identical rosters are being treated like a standard high schools.

1. Montverde Academy (FL) (18-0) 
Montverde Academy continues their dominant play this past weekend hosting the NIBC Montverde Invitational and winning all three of their games during the first weekend. The Eagles defeated top-25 teams AZ Compass Prep (AZ), La Lumiere (IN), and Oak Hill Academy (VA).

2. Compass Prep (AZ) (19-1)
The Dragons proved why they have been ranked in our top-5 throughout the season after going 2-1 at the Montverde Invitational this past weekend and taking #1 Montverde Academy (FL) to overtime. AZ Compass did eventually lose to Montverde in OT and are now 19-1 on the season and sit at number two in our top-25 national rankings.

3. Sunrise Christian (KS) (13-2)
The Buffaloes go 2-1 during the first weekend at the NIBC Montverde Invitational and losing a close one to now #2 AZ Compass Prep (AZ). Sunrise Christian will be back in action this weekend in the second weekend of the NIBC Montverde Invitational.

4. IMG Academy (FL) (19-2) 
IMG Academy goes 4-0 last week which included two wins at the Dr. Pepper Classic this past weekend in Chattanooga, Tennessee and a big win over Central Pointe (FL) earlier last week. The Ascenders will have a big matchup against #8 Minnehaha Academy (MN) this weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota as part of the Big Midwest Shootout.

5. Prolific Prep (CA) (22-3) 
Prolific Prep is expected to be back in action this week in Phoenix, Arizona at the Grind Session bubble. The Crew are currently on a 15-game winning streak and have now moved into our top-5 national rankings.

6. Wasatch Academy (UT) (16-5)
Wasatch Academy got themselves a big win over now #7 Oak Hill Academy (VA) this past weekend at the NIBC Montverde Invitational before losing two straight games to #1 Montverde Academy (FL) and #18 La Lumiere (IN). The Tigers are now 16-5 on the season.

7. Oak Hill Academy (VA) (13-4) 
Oak Hill Academy loses three straight games this past weekend at the NIBC Montverde Invitational at Montverde Academy. The Warriors move to number seven in our latest updated top-25 national rankings.

8. Minnehaha Academy (MN) (5-0)
Minnehaha Academy defeated Duluth East (MN) last week for the second time already this season. The Redhawks will have one game this week before their highly anticipated matchup with #4 IMG Academy (FL) at the Big Midwest Shootout in Minneapolis.

9. DeMatha Catholic (MD) (7-0)
DeMatha Catholic squeezes by Bishop McNamara (MD) by three over the weekend in their only game. The Stags will have another game this week against Our Lady Good Counsel (MD) before their elite matchup Saturday against #23 Paul VI (VA).

10. Combine Academy (NC) (16-3)
Combine Academy did not have any games last week due to COVID and healthy and safety protocols with their two scheduled matchups. The Goats are looking to schedule any other games before their next game on February 9th.

11. St. Frances Academy (MD) (12-2)
The Panthers will play their last game as the club team "Baltimore Panthers" this week against Avalon School (MD) as their league play is expected to begin on February 8th.

12. Duncanville (TX) (19-1)
Duncanville goes 2-0 last week after winning two games. The Panthers improve to 19-1 on the season and their highly anticipated rematch against #19 Waxahachie (TX) has been postponed due to health and safety protocols.

13. Ypsi Prep Academy (MI) (6-2)
Ypsi Prep Academy did not play last week and is expected to be back in action this weekend as they are expected to face Lake Norman Christian (NC) in Greenville, South Carolina as part of the Battle Basketball Showcase. A major top-25 caliber matchup.

14. Milton (GA) (19-2)
Milton is currently on a 17-game winning streak and goes 3-0 last week which included a big win over Wheeler (GA). The Eagles are expected to have two more games this week to end their regular season.

15. Camden (NJ) (1-0)
The Panthers defeated Cherry Hill West (NJ) 94-42 in their first game of the season in their only game last week. Camden will have two solid games this week as they face Rutgers Prep (NJ) and Trenton Catholic (NJ).

16. West Oaks Academy (FL) (10-5)
West Oaks Academy moves down a few spots after taking a lost last week to Victory Rock Prep (FL). The Flame hit the floor for the first time last week since early January.

17. Dream City Christian (AZ) (17-5)
Dream City Christian moves to 17-5 on the season and have been one of the most consistent top-25 programs all season. The Eagles will have one game this week in the Grind Session bubble out in Phoenix, Arizona.

18. La Lumiere (IN) (4-6)
La Lumiere goes 1-2 this past weekend at the NIBC Montverde Invitational. The Lakers did get a key win over #6 Wasatch Academy (UT). They will be back in action this weekend for the second half of the NIBC Montverde Invitational.

19. Waxahachie (TX) (15-2)
Waxahachie's next three games will be postponed due to health and safety protocols. The Indians highly anticipated matchup against #12 Duncanville (TX) will be postponed.

20. The Patrick School (NJ) (2-0)
The Patrick School has begun their 2020-2021 season with a 2-0 record after two games last week. The Celtics will play again this Wednesday against St. Benedict's Prep (NJ), a sneaky good matchup.

21. Oak Ridge (FL) (16-2)
Oak Ridge defeated Freedom (FL) 83-33 in their only game last week. The Pioneers will have two more games this week to end their regular season.

22. Houston (TN) (12-3)
The Mustangs captures two wins last week including a big win over Arlington (TN). Houston will have two more games coming up this weekend and are 
currently 12-3 on the season.

23. Paul VI (VA) (5-2)
Paul VI goes 2-0 last week and improve to 5-2 on the season. The Panthers will have one more game this week before their exciting matchup against WCAC rival DeMatha Catholic (MD) this Saturday, a rematch of last season's WCAC title game.

24. Calvary Christian (FL) (10-4)
Calvary Christian is expected to be back on the court this weekend as they head to Montverde Academy to compete in the NIBC Montverde Invitational. They are expected to face #1 Montverde Academy (FL), #18 La Lumiere (IN), and #3 Sunrise Christian (KS).

25. Word of God Christian (NC) (26-7)
The Rams move down a few more spots this week after going 1-1 last week that included a lost to unranked, but a very talented, The Burlington School (NC). The Rams will be in Florida this week as they are expected to face Andrew Jackson (FL) and Bishop Snyder (FL).
