Dwayne Pierce is a six-foot-six wing out of Christ The King that has cemented himself as one of the most prolific slashers in the class 2024. Pierce is a hyper-aggressive, physical wing who can stuff the stat sheet. The big bodied wing gets downhill at will and bullies defenders on his way to strong layups. Coming off ball screens with a live dribble, Pierce is adept at turning the corner and getting into the paint where he is an underrated playmaker. The amount of attention he requires as a scorer when he gets into the paint opens up opportunities for his teammates to make themselves available. In transition his speed and power make him difficult to stop when he has a full head of steam. Once he has defenders playing on their heels, he continues to apply relentless pressure and uses his athleticism to finish above the rim. Pierce has a smooth but quick handle which he uses to create space for a smooth pull-up jumper. His skill set and size allow him to be a valuable scoring option as well as a bigger guard who can also initiate offense. His dog mentality, switchability and large frame make him a valuable asset defensively, giving him the ability to guard multiple positions. Pierce currently holds a handful of high-major offers from schools like Illinois, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Memphis.
